Agree and disagree.

Agree: Edge points should not be influenced by one's skill at and/or willingness to engage in farming.

Disagree: Edge points should be awarded solely based on character age.

If that were the case, the only thing we'd be incentivizing is longevity. IMO it should be possible to use edge points to incentivize other behaviors that are also good for the game.

Agree: Eliminating the ability to farm is the only way to prevent people farming because CFers are perfectly willing to trade "time doing boring stuff" for PK advantage.

Disagree: Ceasing to award edge points based on observation/exploration xp is the only way to prevent farming.
