#45354, "RE: PSA: Damage is not an OOC word."
|
I dont have a problem with the word damage being used IC. Instead, I feel awkward when people start refering to the skills in that way.
Take these two: "When you used entwine, I knew I was screwed." "When you entwined me, I knew I was screwed."
I'd prefer the second any day. In that case, you are talking about the action taking place. We cant really complain about someone talking about that. But in the first case he talks about the skill in a way that doesnt feel natural to me, except when you OOC talk about a game.
So in the example everyone use to rag on someones RP for the word damage, its the pincer part that sticks out to me. Am I the only one that feels that way?
