#45330, "Doing and acting"

To start, I don't think Lhydia was trying to be insulting. I have only interacted with Hanord from the list of characters I know you have played. However, from what I read of others, I do get the feeling you are an RP-lite kinda guy. Your PSA supports that. RP-lite is also not necessarily a bad thing.
I completely agree that RP is more about what you DO in the world rather than flowery RPish chatting.
It's clear you try to make it fun for those you are playing with. It's clear that you can be successful in PK. It's clear that you must have some idea how to RP or you wouldn't garner the rewards you typically do.
That being said, if I want some rad RP, I'm going to Scarab, Neltouda, Corrlaan (miss my archon lord ), or one of Rayihn's incarnations (supposing I ever have a reason to, haven't played a character that has yet).
That's not to say you can't RP (I wouldn't know, since we haven't interacted), just that I always get the vibe that you are about whatever maximizes the fun for all involved rather than playing your character to the T. Nothing wrong with that and probably actually better to play that way.
One of my interactions with Hanord was basically him apologizing for his Imperials taking most of my gear when I unknowingly suicided at the inners since I was a ghost. I thought to myself "What a nice guy, sure seems like the Emperor would just take everything without a word of apology." Again though, that's my preference for RP over sportsmanship. Clearly you prefer sportsmanship.
Even still, I don't see the guy's comment as that far outside the realm of Theran speech. MAYBE for a dwarf, but ONLY if he had established himself as the typical scottish/irish/pirate dwarf in the past.
