being. Fear begins to grip you as the gaze of this enormous giant falls upon
you, for behind those emerald eyes you catch a glimpse of intelligence, a
deadly combination that now graces Thera. The giant's muscles swell to sizes
only one of his race could possess. His hands are enormous, and they wrap
lightly about the weapon he carries, gently grasping it yet having the
potential of substantial destruction. As you stare deeper into his eyes an
eternal darkness envelops his once emerald corneas and a low guttural roar
emanates from his lips. His hands tighten about his weapon and his expression
of resolve is replaced with a look of pain and anguish, it almost seems like
he is fighting something within, a battle waging in his very soul. The
darkness in his eyes slowly fades as he regains his air of determination.

descending as the longest edge of a right triangle. The swirling winds
with no visible source carry a malodorous blend of brimstone and the acrid
after-effects of lightning through this place, and faint motes of pallid
light flicker in and out of existence in a dance at the edge of your
perceptions. The ashen stone has been emblazoned with great sigils here,
savagely sliced forth with the precision strokes of a master's hand. To
the south, a gothic and stern opening has been taken from the surrounding
stone, where a faint hum echoes forth. The remaining wall supports a
smaller archway, beside which stands a massive statue.
