About the Sylvrin's interaction with Beroxxus. When I'm dead and gone I'll go into detail about it in my farewell. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I have to say I think it's all in the way you handle it.

I agree that there has to be at least some sort of fear/reverence for that Immortal being that can smite you to the ground, even if you disagree with everything they stand for.

I think of it this way. If an angel or Jesus or Alah came and stood before you how would you react? Me...I'd be kneeling at Jesus's feet. An angel or Alah I would certainly have humble respect and reverence for. When you read the Bible, the evil people who see an angel or hear god's voice or something are usually more fearful than the righteous are. Why is that? Because they know they did something to bring the wrath of God down on them and they are gonna be toast. What happens when they defy the angel/god? Well, Sodom and Gommorah is a good example.

If Satan himself were standing there threatening your life, how would you react? Personally I would have no feelings of reverence for Satan, but I know I would be scared witless and I'd be calling on God to save me. I would not be all cocky, even if I were defying the evil one and standing up for what I believe in.

I totally agree with the need for respect for Heros too, and that also goes for mortal leaders of the cabals. Even if you don't like the way they do things whether it be IC or OOC, there still needs to be some semblance of respect for their position of leadership IMHO.
