Chapter 8

The Cult of the Ruby Scarab was increasingly suspicious of
Nazarates. Despite his unmatched skill with his blade he lacked
the well defined Will that all Cultists have. After years of
attempting to infilitrate he was met with silence both from
the Voice and from the Father of Devils himself.

This led to Nazarates working alone and observing the rest of
Thera. He earned the respect of the Empire through violence
and cunning. This eventually ended with the Emperor himself
respecting Nazarates and offering him a position on his Council.

Nazarates sent word back to the Sepulcher and received a coded
reply reading: "Accept Coldcrown's offer. Deliver us an army."

And with that Nazarates set out for the Oath. Preparing to
serve the Unspoken in new, unexplored ways.
