Chapter 7

With the absence of the Unspoken One, Nazarates has largely roamed
without purpose or cause. He has shed much blood, sharpening his
skills in the process. His desire to be the worlds most feared
assassin was, until now, his lone motivation.

Then came a scroll marked with the sigil of the Order of the
Black Sepulcher. It was written in intricate code which read
with simple instructions: Infilitrate the Cult of the Ruby Scarab
and learn the secrets of their workings and find a means to bring
the nightwalkers into our service. Our goal remains Eternal Night.

And so Nazarates pledged himself to the Cult. Not as a supplicant
of True Will but rather as a spy for his Masters.
