Interesting, I hadn't even thought of the side effect of grip. It would have made our fights more interesting if I had!

Yep, that works, at least for moment. All I did was fly away, cancel the blindness and come back. You must have known I would come back right? I mean how often do you get a one on one fight, which is what I was thinking when I found you alone near the giant.

Ah, the Varun fight. You have no idea how happy Aesrira was over that. She loved the idea of fighting alongside a villager. It was almost as much fun as when she could get two villagers beating on her. As I said, she really liked them, and Varun most of all. Afterwards I spend some time talking with him about that fight, which is probably why I didn't get a chance to give you a tell.

Anyway, after I had cancelled the blindness and was back in the air, I saw Varun coming, so in Aesrira's mind it became a race to the bone, you were the bone! I know for a fact Varun would have attacked me if he had seen me first while running to the village. I had spend a lot of time talking with him over that. However, I think he was gunning for you since he could hear over his cb that you were attacking. I doubt he even saw me till after he had you entwined. I was moving pretty quick to get the bite in first. The last thing I wanted was for him to see me lurking outside the village as he was running to defend. Afterwards, I have little doubt he would have attacked. I didn't even bother trying to loot you, it was never about the gear anyway. So as soon as you died I got my feathered tail out of there before Varun could put the smack down.

I did like your "Typical" comment. I thought it was particularly appropriate from your IC point of view. But I wonder if as a player you believed it? I noticed on the other forum, you posted some logs entitled "raid/retrieve on village, Outlanders defend". As a player you do realize that's not how it was working, right? As the leader at the time I can assure you we were never defending the village, or the fort, or any other cabal. As a matter of fact, we often made it harder on ourselves because we wouldn't work with them. Anyway, it was that kind of conflict that just added to fun in my mind.
