Chapter 22

Few places within the lands evoke such strong feelings of monotony as the
cliffs of pure unadulterated whiteness. They are sheer for hundreds of feet,
leagues that trail deep into the sky and clouds above. All color seems to
have been drained from them eons ago with not a wisp or trace remaining.

Along with the bland whiteness is the feeling of smallness when floating or
standing near these imposing natural formations. The edifice continues to a
point at the edge of sight and blurs into obscurity, never quite displaying
the full extent of their enormity.

Spending any amount of time along these barren cliffs leads to headaches,
piercing and deep, senses of solitude and can drive those individuals with a
less than solid foundation into pure insanity.
