Chapter 17

Rising like the spine of some incredibly massive creature, these green
undulations appear menacing in the drab color of darkness. Each jutting,
hilly peak looks like some sort of jagged protrusion, some higher and some
lower but all are sharp and angry.

With the breaking dawn's illumination, the spooky and terror inducing spines
of this massive being become greener. Shiny scale-like leaves undulating with
every faint breeze as they travel the rising air current.

As the distance grows shorter to this grand formation, the details become more
apparent. Mighty trees stretch to the sky with their broad leaves catching
the light with the first kiss of the sun's rays upon the nightly dew.
