Buereunus was a very weak combination - air/water. And he did surprisingly well with it and that it because of his own skills as the player, not the combo he played.

And that is something to be proud of and that is something you as Immortals should welcome, stimulate and congratulate. And that is the situation to give out the flying-water-jack-blaguar form, at least for the last 150 or so hours. The player did very hard and good things and deserves a reward for the last 1/4 of his life.

From your farewell post on the battlefields "The furor over wood-elf edges and the number of people who broke character to complain about them is unreal to me. Honestly I think they're decent but for any combo I think one or more of arial, elf, or d-elf warrior is still better, without even getting into the halfies. I'm not planning to touch them; if you think they're really good, take a run at it and see if you can do better than I did."

Dark-elves and elves aren't better than wood-elves for sure and gnomes are much weaker. But you wrote it all the way like as if you are really proud of making wood-elf warrior shine. And the fact it - you really deserve it.


But Buereunus was even weaker combo and deserved everything positive even more.


Now you two did totally the same : killed someone 7 or 8 times the same day. Nobody of you did anything wrong. But he did it with much much weaker combo than you.

Man this guy has killed sad elf shifter 8 times... but I guess, what can you really do when you're water/air.
for simply doing totally the same thing you did with much stronger combo? At the same time while you thought that you did very good with a weak combo?



P.S. And i am not even going into bigger things like .... for example .... the number and the _quality_ of PKills and PKdeaths totally naked and uber-equiped paladins can get aren't too much different. Only because there are people whom you can kill as a villager sword spec without any access to any form of good lag against somewhat smart enemies, and those are totally the same people an air/water shapeshifter can kill. But how well you do with each combo only depends on the player's skill.
