For the record, that druid and I rarely if ever coordinated anything. I'd hit his briars on the way to the Tara'bal, then offer up an ad hoc alliance since we both wanted you dead.

Also, it was never my goal to lure you into briars. I knew you weren't going to die to the two of us in melee, though that may have been the druid's plan. My only goal was to mark you, enabling me to track you down later in some out-of-the-way area. For example, the Arkham Crypts. That's what I meant when I responded, "Believe that if you want," to your claim that my having killed the maran was "pointless". Like I said at the time, I got what I came for.

Anyway, I didn't "know" Gumbldink well, but you were obviously doing something right to get the leadership position and heinous set you carried around for so long. So kudos for that. I'm still disappointed my gate gambit didn't pay off, though. Stupid random number generator. Guess I can get rid of this now:
