Chamber of Pride
A short, round passage to the north is the only visible exit from this
rectangular chamber. The smooth stone walls are covered with thick hanging
tapestries of gold, blue and red, the solid, reassuring colors smoothing
the otherwise harsh angles of the chamber. Comfortable chairs and tables,
made of heavy oak and covered with thick cushions, lie scattered around the
floor, all facing towards the center of the chamber. A thin circular rug
with an intricate geometric pattern woven into it covers the majority of the
chamber's floor.


Resting in the exact center of the room is a mirror of polished crystal.

Formed from a solid piece of crystal, this multi-faceted mirror has been
polished to a high sheen. It has no frame, and lacks any apparent support
that would keep it upright, but it remains firmly in place. No matter
where in the room it is gazed upon, it presents a flat surface and provides
a crystal clear reflection. Oddly enough, the reflection is only of the
person gazing at the mirror; the background of the room does not appear on
its unmarred surface.
