Chapter 9

With this new power tingling through him, Aubrasz knew he no longer could
stay in this simple village. Nothing here could ever give him what the
whispers in the shadows promised. More so, while his mother was an easy kill
he was certain that the others would be able to over power him in his current
state. While he did not fear the Weh of such and would embrace it, there was
so much more which he wanted to accomplish before such a time.

Following the whispers, they guided him unseen out of the village into the
swamps. Aubrasz did not know where his path would lead him, but he knew that
his basic understanding of this arcane gift must be harnessed and expanded.
Aubrasz would grasp at anything which would ever give him more and more
power, following the teachings which guided him thus far. He would find a way
to rip asunder the veils between the worlds, and then it shall all be his.
