- Shapeshift spell mana cost reduced.
- Many shifter edges now have a prerequisite of 80% shapeshift.
- Leverage improved a tiny bit more; I would use this skill without hesitation as a large staff/spear spec and would use it situationally for other staff/spear specs.
- Poison Darts scales up to higher levels a bit better.
- Bramble Pit damage increased significantly, again.
- Bear Kinship bears are higher level and significantly more durable.
- Shattering Note (Piercing Dissonance edge) improved.
- Tsunami damage increased. Note that tsunami can deal some damage to drowning-immune targets. (This has been true for years but I don't know if anyone ever noticed.)
- Chill Touch and Lightning Bolt deal more damage than before at higher levels.
- Wheel Kick is faster if you know Mountain Storm Kick.
- Side Kick blocks one attack if successful (like feint/cross). Having Double Spin Kick improves it a little more.
- Scissor Kick is a little faster, works a little more, and lets the assassin take one extra attack the following round if successful. Having Rising Phoenix Kick improves it a little more. Probably it's still not good enough to use past the teens but it's a start.
- Flyto with a sub-tier-1 form lags the shifter less than before.
- You can't gate or flyto a player who doesn't trust you the first five minutes you're logged in.
- The shifter "fly" skill now is based on form skill rather than working 100% of the time. Malediction can impact it but even in the worst conditions its success rate remains very high, just not 100%.
- Flaming Arrow improved.
- Poison Arrow improved.
- Aerial Shot improved.
- Timed Attack helpfile updated to better explain what it does. Also, Timed Attack is quicker at lower Observe thresholds.
- Timed Attack (Staff variant) now provides an echo to the room when it prevents casting etc.
- Characters whose carried weight exceeds their current max carry move around marginally more slowly than other characters and spend additional movement to do so. This effect is slightly more pronounced on characters with low base Strength.
- We have started to track additional cabal raid stats based on the level of opposition you face in both raids and retrievals. This most likely will feed into edge at some point but does not yet.
- There is now a minimum level on exploration spots. For most areas, this level is 11. For some very lowbie areas, it's lower. For some high level areas, it's higher. The guy who begs any hero who will listen to drag him through high-end explore areas with each of his lowbies can maybe get some dignity back going forward.
- Teleport now correctly respects area-writer-set room flags that restrict teleport. This means you can now teleport into some places you couldn't before, and can't teleport into some places you could before.
- Each piece of rigid armor (materials such as metal, stone, bone, wood, glass, etc.) worn reduces the success rate of malleability slightly.
- Conditions that make sneaking impossible (e.g. Faerie Fire) cut the success rate of Gentle Walk significantly.
- Lifebind and Luminous Assault can be used in combat.
- Luminous Assault is more powerful, but has a short reuse timer.
