Just to make this clear, I don't actually hate the nexus cabal nor do I hate any particular nexuns in it. I don't consider nexus unfun or bad for the game. I just think that its really freaking annoying to deal with nexus from the fort side.

Well, no, its an RP restriction. I consider Fort grouping with Nexus (especially nexus who just slew their friends and sworn allies a few days ago) to be #### RP, on the level of outlanders arguing points of law with tribunal. It's basically powergaming: So I'm just going to ignore all your past and future sins for the sake of more conveniently gathering shinies and ganging down my enemies today? Evil might get away with it, but I have a hard time envisioning even the nicest fortie allowing that.

Sure, I agree wholeheartedly. I'd do the same thing in your place. But you can see why this results in Nexus only fighting favorable engagements against the Fortress, while Fort is strictly forbidden from striking back on favorable terms against the Nexus, right?

Well, you yourself admit you steamrolled fort. From my perspective, Nexus steamrolled fort quite often. I'm actually okay with that: I don't reall mind and I think I'd do the same in your place. Its really more of a question of how Fort can steamroll you back. Which I don't think ever happened, despite nexuns killing numerous forties and raiding successfully numerous times.

And while I think Allysia was a stunning achievement of a bard, I don't think your PK numbers are particularly relevant to the discussion. Naturally, you'd find it easier to kill loads of battle who have ####ty escape mechanisms than loads of fort, who can just quaff away, especially considering battle was your 24/7 enemy and fort was sort of that whipping boy you could bring out whenever you were bored
