Chapter 3

Time passed and the bloodthirst created by the ancient dark magic has began
to overcome Zqoemoa again. He has started to let his magical instincts take
over him and starting hunting within the cities, more often than ever, walking
on the edge of being caught breaking the Imperial Law. Eventually he slipped,
blinded by the bloodthirst for Agilus the thief, was punished, and soon made
Anathema for sticking to his behavior even after the punishment.

It was then when Emnon, the Unspoken One, has visited Zqoemoa during one of
his hunts and proposed to join the ranks of his minions and hunt for those
close to other gods, the priests.

Zqoemoa, although having no connection to Emnon through the ties of religion,
still had the influence of Dark Lords of the Empire on his soul. And, seeing
that Emnon required of him nothing more than he had already dedicated himself
to - death of others, Zqoemoa agreed to the deal that Emnon has proposed,
lending his claws to the cause the Unspoken One gave him, but not abandoning
his intent to kill all others as well. Including other Emnon's minions, whom
he sought as a viable prey to his claws.
