Chapter 2

Having found a home in the Tree of Ages, Foedett now seeks to locate and
liberate his sister from wherever she might be. Venturing into the underdark,
he begins where the saddest parts of his story also began. Starting at the
farms of cragstone and moving through the city itself, his usual quiet and
mutated, unapproachable self. Fortunately, he also mostly went unnoticed,
slipping quietly from hall to hall and hearing what he could of old lore of
pirate incursions into the underdark.

Unfortunately, his family were outcasts, so very little information via the
pilfered public records could be found. He would have to rely on the rumors
and stories of old, perhaps intoxicated svirfnebli who live in the area.
Though out of his usual element, that is, surrounded by others of humanoid
shape, he felt it a neccesary discomfort in his quest for truth and
vengeance, to make the past right by some measure.

So little came from Lower Cragstone, though it was not a trip without
lessons. He takes these with him forward in his ongoing search. Little did he
know, one last stop at the Drunken Homonculous would yield more information
pertinant to his case. Strangely enough, Flixxan, who scarcely ever heard
from the strange svirfnebli some call 'Pebble', save for his lessons or to
tinker with a few traps before walk-tinkering off down the kings tunnel into
the wilds, had the most to tell. Using the trip to the guild for some scroll
study and practice, alongside his trapwork, he jotted down on some of the
excess parchments the names of a dozen more contacts Foedett would otherwise
never associate with, those who were potential buyers for freak shows and
circus people. A risky list to go down for someone with the hindpaws of a
beast!
