Chapter 5

Many battles have passed and Ackor sits in his hut atop a throne of
skulls he has built for himself. He has fought the best in the land
and has found Victory. Sometimes he has found defeat. He has tried
his best to stay true to how a 'True Bearer' should act. Once though
he forgot himself and lost his way. His most prized weapon,the Skull
Sword was taken by a maran. The maran vowed to not fight him with
honor and he let his rage drive him to breaking into the Fortress to
kill the dwarf, Davnan. With that he turned the beauty of combat into
something ugly as he fought with nothing but rage and in the end only
found defeat.
This was not how a 'True Bearer' should act as reminded by the mighty
Lord Akresius he smited him with lightning. He was commanded to relearn
how a 'True Bearer' should act. He had displeased his Lord and went
to his hut to relearn and refocus.
Awhile has passed since then and Ackor has been, in his mind, walking
the path of a 'True Bearer' once again. He has sought out his Lord
but his words seem to fall short. In his mind he wonders if his Lord
will ever speak to him again. If he can find favor in his eyes once
again.
