Chapter 3

Juhldalor sought to reflect a bit on the events, and as his past
revelations have come to him as he dreamt of ale and earth, his
path became clear.

Depriving himself of all sustinance, a great fast for redemption,
Juhldalor shall not take in the drink of ale, and shall not take
a taste of the hearty grains of wheat borne of the dark rich earth.

He shall himself suffer as the families of the fallen have suffered,
and if this path removes him from his duties as a Maran, so be it.

For his heart and will shall shape this earth, and he himself shall
be shaped by his Lady Ysaloerye. If she finds redemption within her heart
she shall grant it, if not, Juhldalor will simply return to the earth
from where he has come, his last breath of life returning to the Nordiach
from wence it came.
