You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

#9, "A rather open question."

Probably the one problem I have always had when not a Priest in need of empowerment, is trying to think of a legit way to go to your Diety and say hey there ummm, im following you and stuff?

I suppose what i'm asking is, how would you want a follower, (undwarven + not within Battle cabal) to come before you.

Just coming saying they fight in your name with similar ideals?

Its that first visit that I generally have trouble with. With an empowerment character I have always found it easier simply because, we both know why i'm there and its something to talk about and go from I suppose.

Anyhow, any information would be awesome. Thanks!!!

Well first rule of Biddy worship is:
don't be a mage.
The second rule of Biddy worship is:
seriously, don't be a mage.

As far as empowerment classes go how you will approach will very much depend on who your char is. The Paragon appreciates those who embody the traits that make dwarves, dwarves. Including stubbornness, plain open speech, and a penchant for ale. While the religion in general has some very narrow aspects to entrance, it has quite a bit of diversity on what you embrace and explore once you are on the path. Which is why everyone starts as a Seeker.
