I've noticed that some items which used to be magical, and have magic effects like healing in combat, no longer are. A prime example, is the long-titanium spear. I recently obtained one and went to give it to tahren, only to have him give it back saying there was no magic in it. So I called spellbane, wielded the spear, and went to fight something, hoping that I would spellbane the healing, but I didn't. So if the thing isn't magical, can battle use it? The same goes for other items that behave similarly, like the whitesteel reward weapons from jolinar's demon slaying quest?
