Let that rat that holds the tarnished silver ring repop more sensibly than 'only when you've killed all the rats, and had the sewers emptied so it can repop'. It's possibly the most annoying piece of lowbie gear to get. Ever. Including wide belts when you're lvl 5.

Knowing you have to kill all the rats to get the one with the ring to repop was pretty much discovered ooc by most people when they plastered it on QHCF.net - it puts newbies at a severe disadvantage if they don't know they have to do that to get the tarnished ring. A piece of equipment which is extremely handy at low levels when you want to boost your +hit with a ring slot. The info is on the diku-wiki, but again there are people who won't know to look at the sewers map there.
