You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

Not sure how hard it is based on the way the area works, but it would be nice if where only showed captains on the ships in dock.

Mostly because it would be a coding nightmare to determine whether or not a ship was in the dock via the where command. You would basically have to hack the where code to special case this one section, and that's just asking for trouble later on.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

How about setting the ships as no_where (organia style) while they're not in port, just adding to the existing docking/undocking effects? Or making the mobs sneak and thus non-locateable via where?

Yeah, no one asked for my ideas, sorry
