May sound lazy but could it be possible to be able to use vigilance EVEN when you have detect invis and hidden? I mean I leave the city, use some detect invis but when I return in the city, I cannot use the vigilance and so cannot see if it's a real yell and perhaps could be risky for a mistake. I do that for all the duergars!
