I understand about gameplay and limiting certain kinds of metals for Outlanders. However I also realised that the elite wood-elf guards in Eryn Galen wears adamantite armor and weapons. I find it contradicting since the theme of the Eryn Galen is geared towards a woodland kind of hometown (I may be wrong). Perhaps the wood-elf guards' equipments can be changed to steel, wood, bone or hide-type.

That isn't a bad suggestion.

There is a lot in the areas in particular that were just kind of thrown together willy-nilly that is inconsistent with other areas, helpfiles, etc. Only recently have we been really working on some cohesive elements in CF, so I'm sure you'll see lots of these changes over the coming months and years to try to "unify" CF to some central themes.
