#8235, "Prompt love ... :)"
|
One thing I would like to see in the prompt is weather. There are several spells/communes that is dependant on the weather and in a heated fight its kinda dangerous to write weather or try the spells/communes. Every round counts.
Pls Would be a great adition to the current pretty lovable prompt that exists allready.

I understand why worth was taken out.
but I can see the logic behind the idea that any char who is outside would be able to at a glance instantly know if it was raining, cloudy, gusty, windy, sunny, snowing, etc.
although, my guess is that it would not be UBBER simple to make sure that the prompt function disables this option for anyone indoors or underground or underwater, no reason someone in the underdark or Kuo-toa should know if it's windy out.

Is something I have been doing for a few years now, but I am doing it "clientside".
I don't know about any of the other clients, but I found it relatively easy to color-code my prompt in Zmud

Having a lag indicator would make it insanely easy to write pk-fighting scripts, in my opinion.
Sure, the aware pk'er who was on his toes and had a decent link would be able to spot and farg-up any pk-scripts, but I think this would be a *VERY* bad idea.
I have been extremely anti-pkscript since the invention of Rogue's awareness and the resulting flood of "flee;return;knife" script kiddies
