#8210, "Spear/Staff Skill"
|
So I was minding my own business fighting a few mobs with a spear spec and I was thinking about a new skill.
Spinning slash: During the course of battle as one is mastered in the arts of the spear and staff they learn to use precise strikes while defending themselves. Syntax: Spinslash
Basically It would be 2 rounds of lag, and what it would do is depending on a spear or staff inflict a slash type damage to everyone who is fighting the warrior. If it is indeed a staff they would hit a little weaker than a slashing attack or even a blunt attack.

None of the warrior specs have something that hits everyone in the room, maybe concealed and riposte. But then the warrior must be the main target to actually activate the skill.
Spear/staff is already a cool (and balanced) specs with recent changes made with a lower-damage charge.

What you are describing is changing crescent to make it hit everyone instead of one person.
If something like that goes in, it is going to have more lag than crescent, or do a lot less damage, or screw with your defense or something.

If spear/staff specs are currently evenly balanced. Adding a skill like that would either mean making them unbalanced or require sacrificing something else.
