#55651, "Imperial Coups - how do they work?"
|
How exactly do these things go down?
Isn't the vote for Emperor set up by the Empire imms? Mechanically do you have to get an imms blessing to do this? Is a vote required?
How do they succeed or fail? I assume if the Emperor catches wind he just anaths everyone before anything can happen. Are there other ways?

Thanks for the answer. I'm not playing an imperial. I was just really curious what happened to the council as Ishuntal when Qintaris got that title and Nizrilli and Althamael got bombed to oaths. I tried asking in game but no one would tell me.
I see now it was a failed coup. So with that a few more questions if you don't mind.
How many on the council does it take to call a vote with a sitting Emperor? Just one or does there need to be a consensus?
Does the Emperor get a vote?
Would a failed coup be anything that is not a majority to oust the Emperor?
It seems likely but I'll ask: the emperor gets to know how everyone voted?
