#53034, "What is a class/character concept that you've played and had a ton of fun with?"
|
Either because it was mechanically good, or more powerful then most people would think it would be at first glance, or just the fun of the character and the roleplay?
I haven't played in quite a while. I've been telling myself to roll up the past two weeks but haven't been able to commit to a concept. With the double exp on the way here, now's definitely the time, whether to rank up quickly or jump on ranking groups of three who're level 30 and rocking fine leather.
So what're the most fun characters that you've played?

Combine any of these with a fun quirky role that will FORCE you to RP in a way that your enemies and allies will both notice. (Note: This does not mean pick something where you RP "at" them, only something where some part of your hooks will be apparent in almost any interaction.)
Murderous lowbie fun (we're talking 20s and earlier):
1) Invoker
2) Air shifter
3) Necro (once a cliché, now pretty rare to see done well)
4) Low-combat-skills thief (like as in, your key PKing skills might be hide and steal)
5) Bard (only really fun if you're willing to try to kill groups of 3 by yourself.)
Midlevels or higher:
1) Nexus Assassin. With Vanguard you're pretty well equipped to stand up to Battle one on one, stealth and tiger claw are great tools to help recover your or someone else's cabal item, and you can sneak around picking off whoever's in power.
2) Angel or demon conjurer. (Alternately: svirf). All offense, low defense, go!
3) Human A-P (probably not Empire, just because I think this is more fun if you're less likely to get tied up in cabal raids a lot) that just doesn't care that much about losing unholies. You have a great skillset for dealing with almost anyone, and if you're a little less afraid of dying you really can kill a lot with it.
