If so, then giving harvest to pledges isn't really appropriate. They need to learn how to survive without cabal powers that can be taken away.
I'm pretty sure that applies to windwalk also.

I think it is a good idea. A vet is going to know how to get food easily. This really will just help newbies not die stupid starving deaths if they really want to play outlander.
I think it would be helpful.

Free food is abundant if you look in the right places. However, the one thing needed by non-ranger/druid/bard/healer pledges is a weakened form of pathfinding. There's nothing more annoying that hearing an attack on the Huntress and trying to run back only to run out of moves right when you run through the Prosimy.
Plus, the ease of movement would aid in food gathering and for spending more time in the wilds. I wouldn't give them full on pathfinding, just reducing movement costs in the wilds. Something along the lines of: "The Huntress recognizes your devotion to That-Eris by teaching you how to find easier paths through the trees."
Running out of moves is a leading reason of my deleting pre-windwalk warriors because I hate sleeping for hours for moves.

Nexuns get gauge balance. Fortress gets light of the sun or whatever it is. Village gets truesight.
Why not? Could give a toned down version of vigilance to trib pledges. It wouldn't have detect hidden, but it would allow trib pledges to be more reliable witnesses to a crime, because you know they're not getting conned by fake yells.
Could give outlander pledges a toned down harvest, if you want. With like a 25 percent success rate.

Makes sense to me. I think I even suggested this before. Take heart, I suggested to Scarabeous in 2001 that all devils should give barrier and outside of combat even.
