#47238, "Transmute question"
|
When you transmute metal to wood, does the code recognize the change and register it now as light armor as far as the light armor skill is concerned or does it stay metal?
I know it's kind of an obscure question, was just curious if it's an easy answer or not.

It is recognized as wood, but that doesn't get used by any armor use skill I'm aware of.

But yes, I think wood armor should either count as light armor, or have a wood armor skill added to rangers/druids, esp. savages. Poor savages, no wonder my one attempt wasn't getting #### for light armor echoes. I had on wood greaves, and wood bracers I think... Ow! My ovaries!
