I think I saw that somewhere. Wasn't his character a paladin starting with an A? I wonder if I have some logs with him in it.

Having only known him on the game I am still troubled by his death. I had been corresponding with him from time to time over the years and I was hoping to finally meet him and never heard back. I found out a year latter of his death.
All I can say is FTA.

I might have more burned to cd back home. Maybe even along with those docs Scarabaeus wanted! I'll check when I get home in August. The first is an edited snippet from a conversation we had. Not sure why I clipped out all the surroundings except for the speech:
You say 'And how wouldst thou encourage order then? Thou spoke of feeding the others.'
Alarian almost smiles.
Alarian says 'Yes...just feeding someone whom is hungry is such a simple, easy thing to do...it warms their heart and body, makes them feel less bitter and uncared for..'
Alarian says '....also, not having to worry about being killed, stolen from, not having to live in fear..'
Alarian says '...and the anger such helplessness created.'
Alarian says 'I wonder if a bowl of soup is a greater weapon against evil that all the lances and weapons The Fire has...'
Alarian almost smiles.
Alarian bows and falls silent.
And the second is a note I sent when he won a role contest!
<153> Thu Mar 25 21:24:19 2004 From : Velkurah To : all Subject: Role Contest Results
Yes, the results are in. Prizes will be awarded to the top five entries as I find them. Our Pannel of Judges came up with a simple point system once the field had been narrowed down from the original twenty seven. Thanks to all who entered, and to all of you that spend time working on nice roles for us to read. Next to each of the top five names is the number of points they received in our voting.
First place: Alarian, 14 votes Second place: Odrirg, 12 votes Third place: Nhiala, 7 votes Fourth place tie: Nithek, 6 votes Fourth place tie: Sinopa, 6 votes
Congratulations to Alarian and the other winners!

I am really nostalgic for the old Imms, Poetry, Shaz, Mayesha, Pico, Bria, Galadriel, Astien, and others from the Mid to late 90's. My best best Immortal Memories are from those days.
My first paladin was empowered by Turenthean. (Sp?)
The current Imms are great, but I for me Thera's true Pantheon is buried in the dust of ages.

As far as entertainment value.
I know I fire broadsides a lot, but there's a lot of good times here.
