#44951, "Dying to certain progs as a ghost"

I hate losing a third of a con if I can help it and this prog seems to be a really crap way to lose 1/3 con. As a ghost I can pass through solid materials like doors yet when trying to get back to my corpse, as a ghost, this happens.

Clumps of debris and pulverised basalt tumble all around you as you slip and fall through the narrow aperture!
A large chunk from a broken ivory casket hits you.
The hit wounds you.
You are incapacitated and will slowly die, if not aided.
You can't see anything but stars!

You are hurt far too badly for that.

and then wait 4 mins while I die slowly again.

How it a brokeb bit of casket can hit me and cause this infuriating amount of damage (just enough to make me incapaciated in this case!) yet other solid walls etc I can pass through?

You have been KILLED!!

You have died, but the Carrion Fields are not finished with you yet!
Your soul is returned to the realms in the form of a ghost.
You will return to your corporeal state in a short while.
Be careful, for even a ghost should fear some dangers!

That last line is there for a reason. Though, on a note that's less aggravating, I've typically found that these sorts of dying-while-ghost reasons are USUALLY either one of two things.

1) Death-traps that're just designed to kill you no matter what. Don't go there alive, don't go there as a ghost.

2) Dangerous explore-style areas. In part designed to keep you from checking out the whole area as a ghost.
