I think that there should be a new skill for transmuters, metabollic stopping. This spell would cause the victim's metabolism to slow almost to a complete stop, making them fall unconscious.
Of course, giving a sleep spell to transumeturs, who allready have the ability would to sneak up on anyone, would make them quite a bit overpowered, so a few measures must be taken to keep it from being too powerful.
First of all, it would have to be a high-level spell, and maybe even require perfected metabolic slowing. Secondly, the benefits of metabolic slowing would have to be increased for this spell, maybe completely stopping bleeding/poison damage, and having 1.5-2.5 times the regeneration boost of metabolic slowing. Lastly, it would would not work unless the victim was allready affected by metabolic slowing(which would mean you would need to be able to cast it in combat, otherwise it would be too difficult to use).
All of this would make metabolic stopping a unique spell that requires a good bit of skill to use affectively, and it would make the transmuter class a lot more fun to play.
