I don't like to play Conjies/Shifters/Assassins or arial anything because I feel like they are just too easy to play.

I'm not saying I would do great with them, but I generally think of them as classes that require little effort to play or in the case of arials, something that is sort of too good.

If you aren't continuously playing same character type over and over again and winning with the same tricks every time, you should't have a reason to feel that you're degrading yourself by playing some combo. If the combo is possible, Imms have worked to make it balanced, at least to some extent.

Have you had any chars that have been successful PK-wise? I can't seem to remember any at all. (Any of your chars at all that is.)

And looking at the stats, they don't back your claim up. But to some extent I agree, arial warriors for me feels super easy to play at hero range. Conjurer, never had one so no idea, shifters, had 2 complete failures, not my cup of tea, assassin, had one that was AWESOME at midlevels, not so much at hero...

Always shoot first and then call whatever you hit the target.

But I tend to delete after losing so I don't wrack up huge counts with any one character.

I think what you actually mean is that your examples aren't so much better, just more convenient than others. It doesn't mean that their power peak high, just that if you have a eagle/lion it's kind of hard to do really bad. When as with an AP you can be scary as hell or a complete pushover just as easily.

All the combos you suggested, conjie (I assume you mean goodie), shifter, arial warrior and assassin usually do ok, especially at some lvl range or aspect of the end game, but really lack the raw punch of real power combos (like giant sword).

Explanation for those who still read my posts:

M makes an account to post that he finds Pro's notion of CF having an overpowered combo ridiculous. Pro responds with a "who the #### are you?". I think that's an ad hominem argument since it is targeted to the person, not the opinion. Proper way to counter the post would be to respond to M's point, which is easy, since M brings nothing to the table, just his opinion. Simple "how come" would have sufficed to lead the conversation back to the topic.

Anyway, M, if you're reading this, I'd like to hear your answers to the following questions:

1) How come?

2) Are you someone new to the forum or someone who has been here before with another account? (I kinda wonder who guessed right)

1) In competitive multiplayer pvp environment nothing is mechanically 'easy'. Winning is easy only if you are much better than everybody else, which has nothing to do with game mechanics.

if necro wants to kill skilled guy, he has to formulate plans ahead of time, know locked rooms etc before he has a chance to land that sweet kill

pincersvirf has to formula his plan of pincer or pincer or pincer and hope deathblow goes off.

The number of successful arial chars would be far higher if that were true. Same goes for Conjurers and assassins.
But really, they are pretty average.

There are two arial warriors in top 10 based by PKW. And 5 giant swords. Only 3 arials in top 35. That your point doesn't stand.

Okay. No, I don't feel that way. Because I don't think these classes are unstoppable power combos. I encourage you to explore whether your perception matches reality by actually playing some of them.

I haven't really tried "power combos" like giant sword or whatever, but I'm pretty certain I can make them look really terrible.

For kicks, since they're just too easy to play, play one and show us how badass you can be.
