Leader weapons are fine the way they are. Theyre a perk as it is, and if youre a mage and you stick it out chances are you might get something way better.

The advisor, Chancellor, glastrom....all have things I would want more than a third legacy on a warrior anyday. If you really want the weapon for rp reason, then wear it anyways. You dont need 40 hp and mana on your leader weapon for "rp".

How can you say it's rarely ever the case? Maybe from your perspective it appears that way, but you aren't the one dishing out rewards, and you have absolutely no way of seeing the big picture. You have no idea what's actually happening in that department. There could be a LOT of stuff being given out that's just less visible than a leader weapon or a quest form. Splntrd

Without checking dates, I think Kasir, Padwei and Humbert were all in Fortress at the same time.
I want to say Woldrun, Borkahd and Malakhi were all in Battle at the same time, but Malakhi might have been a little later.
Back to your original point, though, I agree that leader weapons generally aren't as useful for mages as they are for melee classes. For some mages they're still useful, though, depending on the leader weapon. Maran leaderweapons prog for decent damage.
Even when they're not useful, though, that's just the way it is with cabal powers. Some benefit certain classes more than others. Not sure why you have such a big problem with that.

Actually id go as far to say as generally rewarded people are all bunched into a cabal at once most of the time, because its generally the same skilled players getting rewarded over again with another good char, and lots of times the skilled people bunch up in one cabal.
