#16025, "In the spirit of Christmas: Assassinate"
|
I guess it's closer to Martin Luther King day. Anyway.
As a reflection of varied approaches that might be taken with a weaponless assassination, an open-handed assassinate is generally straight up, ignoring both resistances and vulnerabilities (but not immunities).
Also, spotting your would-be assassin before the moment of truth is greatly detrimental to the success rate of the assassination, but, like wearing -60 save vs. spell underwear on power word kill day, not completely guaranteed to save your life.

Always.
>When you say bare-handed assassinate ignores resistances and >vulnerabilities, does that include a giant's resist_physical >and a gnome's vuln_blunt?
Yes.
>When you say "spotting your would-be assassin" does that >include all types of "spotting"? Where? Who? Look? Scan? >The paladin commune that shows you everybody in the room?
Who's straight out. I think everything else is kosher.
