How about making skills go up much slower when fighting mobs that are immune to your melee attack or vice versa? As opposed to removing all skill improvements, I mean.

Mebbe:
Vuln mob: 150% improvement rate
Standard: 100%
Resistant: 67%
Immune: 25%

I think its to prevent people from punching the same mob over and over for hours just to spam skills.

It eliminates all manner of stupid practice abuses... which I gather you're trying to get back.

Even while botting, praccing at 25% of max speed isn't worth it.. Don't make stupid assumptions, you're better than that

Edit: To clarify. There are alot of times you have a non-spampractice reason to fight a mob that you are immnune to or vice versa. And hell, if somebody wants to learn at 25% efficiency, that's their problem. Fighting a mob that's immune to your attacks isn't a good move anyways, since with the level affects on praccing, the problem isn't the mob dying, but you. And invokers aren't affected by level differences anyways from what I recall. That leaves paladins and storm giants.

What I wanted was to get rid of an annoying message. And to reward the should-be smart thing which is fighting mobs that are vuln to you. Ok?

Not worth it? For you, sure, I'll believe that... but you would not believe some of the seemingly stupid or crazy botting setups I've seen on CF over the years.

You underestimate how much someone like me hates practicing. I absolutely will not do it, even though it's obviously worth perfecting your skills (Cabdru is evidence enough for that). I would bot at 1% effectiveness if it meant I could go do other things with my life in the mean time. I'd have no problem not really playing my character for a coupe weeks if I could come back to perfected skills. I'd rather bot for 200 hours than spend 2 hours manually. That's how much I hate skill practice. It may take 100 times as long to perfect the skills, but at least I haven't wasted any of my actual time (well, maybe a tiny bit starting the bot and poking it once in a while).

Also, writing bots is fun to me. I think writing and refining a succesful bot is quite enjoyable. I used to do a lot of that on BBSs as a kid. Ah, the joys of botting with Telemate.

On CF I don't bot at all because it's against the rules. So I limit myself to classes that are less impacted by having skills I can't easily perfect while ranking stay at 71%.
