#12499, "Keyword Command"
|
There's been some chatter about the lack of keywords for certain items and I was thinking it might be a nice feature to be able to have a command KEYWORD that would spit out all the keywords for a specific item. (ex. - Examining a water skin you type in and you'd get all the possible keywords for that item - "skin","water","leather", etc. (or whatever they actually are)
I do know that I hate typing 'drink skin' when wearing a skin of the snow leopard and getting the message 'you can't drink that'. By showing us the other keywords we might be able to see a keyword that's less confusing.
Just a suggestion.
Thanks.

Drink 'water skin' as an alias or you can just make a variable for your drink_type. There still are some items that may clash with some other key words, but generally this helps alot.
There are so many items in the lands that it's hard to come up with unique names.

Um, I don't think you have to get an object magically identified or use knowledge of myths/legends in order to physically manipulate an object. GET <keyword>. HOLD <KEYWORD>. DROP <KEYWORD>. Keywords are just mechanical.
