It should be noted that some Herald powers, like mix and cook, can be used in some other Inns. I haven't yet found another place to use cook, but I know I've found several other Inns to use mix. The Heralds could easily set up an underpowered satellite base at one of these if they really wanted to. It'd be sort of risky and it would take some initiative, but the option's there. No one chooses to take it. Splntrd

I've actually wandered around all over the place compiling "the Herald's guide to places where your powers actually work" (working title only) When I get it completed I'll be submitting it to Lyceum@carrionfields.com with hopes that it gets printed and put into the Lyceum.
In game, as a Herald, I've tried to get people to come hang out at other inns for a drink. It comes in handy in Galadon, or Arial city for eg where the herald can dart in mix and get the party started. The trouble is it's not protected. I don't know what the solution is, as I don't think we need or should want more Eternal Star-like protected rooms, but it would be uber cool to have a contest, tale-telling fest, or concert in the various pubs of the land. The real trick isn't getting the Heralds there, its getting an audience there.
I still would like to loby for Olin to build a second floor to the inn with a couple private rooms and a casino with more gambling games. (move the gambler from the rabits corner up there and put a betting on the brawling room booth in the rabbit's corner instead, could even call the casino room the "Rabbit's Hall") Just a thought. ~Tathlyn the Mirthful SageĀ°

How about making several 'entrances' to the inn in different areas. Perhaps only heralds can use them, or those that they vouch for.
Or make it several exits.. either way, it would be nice to make the place more of a hub. I don't know that two way traffic would be ideal.. make it seem too much like a subway station.

If you enter through exit A, you must wait X hours before leaving through exit B. During this time, of course, you may leave back through exit A whenever you wish.
This would at least cut down on the "subway" effect. "Then hunger proved more powerful than grief." - Count Ugolino and the Tower of Hunger
