Having had to format my drive, I lost this nifty little prog. Any chance of getting it hosted someplace else?

I was inspired by this to toy around a bit with Javascript, and made a shameless copyversion that's self-contained in a HTML page, and runs in the browser. It has a few things to note, but they're included in the "application's" info box.
This could be easily incorporated to this web site if you wish, I grant you every right to do so and fiddle around with it.
Edited to add: since it is self-contained, you could save the file on your computer and use it from there. Also, I tested it in the Nokia S60 browser which is webkit based, and it failed spectacularly. Any input from other webkit based browser users (Safari, etc.) would be welcome since I may need this sort of stuff for "real" webpages someday.
The formatter is the attached document.

I expected that, the S60 browser has a mutant javascript implementation and is the likely cause.

It already is incorporated into the site, purely by your post. I've got no problem with it being around this way, but it suffers from the same potential problem that Dio's does. If the site/forum goes down you're still screwed, hence the standalone application So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Yeah, well... like I mentioned in the other post, since the script is embedded in the html page, this one can be saved and runs just fine without any 'net connectivity too! And it might work for anyone using OS X or Linux, however many of those users we have.

When I pasted the description several lines had the last one or two characters cut off. Good program but you might want to make it so the next line starts a few characters earlier. Still way cooler than anything I can do.

Did you use the latest version from this thread? I've fixed a few bugs of the sort. Try the one that wraps at 75 chars per line.

To allow us to use this formater to enter rolls into cf? It would require character log in and stuff ofcourse. In game penalty can be longer diconnect between logins in forms of lag, if something like that is necessary.
I may also just be high.

I don't really get what you're asking here. You have a copy to clipboard feature, and paste that into your client and there you have a role entered in CF.
I have no way to pipe the data from this into your client (especially since I don't even know which client you are using), which is why it gets pushed to your clipboard. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

I downloaded and used your program and got an error.
I've tried to email you at zulghinlour@carrionfields.com about it but I'm getting a "Message rejected. Not enough storage space in user's mailbox to accept message." error.
I don't know how else to bring this to your attention, since I can't email you about it.

Just for info... I gave it a go; it does start up and appears to work with just .NET framework 2.x installed, but when you click any of the formatting buttons it crashes due to missing functionality. Installing .NET 3.5 fixes it and now it looks to work just fine.

What's it support like .net 1.0? Ohh the horror of being a non-windows user. I'm sure you don't want to do it, but I've seen it elsewhere.... how hard would it be to put something in game that would wrap/chop?

Is purely how many characters it can take for input (which is far less than a potential role entry). Let's say max input is 256 chars, you aren't going to get a lot of good formatting from that.
Another option is to let you put your role in, and then go back and format it, but who the hell wants to do string manipulation in C. We have enough random issues with strings (crashing) the game, adding this on top of it would only make it that much worse. So long, and thanks for all the fish!
