Well this is my second warder that interacted with Sassmi. The first one when you were younger, I admit you got insanely on my nerves. However this time I was bit more tolerable, but did get pissed off at you when you confronted me about looting Gre and you just made me feel like I was liar. But oh well I enjoyed you to an extent and come on back to the grove oneday in another life...

The first death bothered me a lot. I was with the a dwarf healer herald and an arial warrior herald and me, all of us were attacking the ranger. Heck it was even the arial (Kalmah I think) who wanted to do it. Then I get jacked outside the inn and then both of them show up and you don't attack either of them but only proceed to attack me (me being evil) with Sabrian. The other frustration with that fight was that the healer didn't word me, they then proceeded to stand there and watch me die. With friends like that who needs enemies. }>

Yeah the other fight with the thief on the eastern I got caught spamming east to much, as I entered the fight I sang when, then when I got down to about 400 hp I sung it. I would have lived if you didn't stay to watch which ended up me singing you into the fight. The whole time I looked at my computer for like 15 rounds waiting for the song to go off begging you to move. You didn't. I could have cheated I suppose and cleared my buffer but I took my lumps like a man and ate my death. Sad thing was I was on my way to buy fly potions.

Had a couple brief talks with you but other then that I didn't have a reason to harm the forest (damn Kalmah *fistshake*) so I didn't have to take any more lumps.

I noticed the posts between you and Caysh were deleted, so I'll try not to go into detail. There was four people with your tattoo I fought. Alot. Every one of them used their tattoo. Sabrain was the only one to actually pull it off, multiple times at that. No idea why no one else's worked on me, but damn glad they didn't, it could be pretty nasty fighting you if it did.

You were a great leader I think in terms of spirit and personality and definately with enough competence to get the job done. I am really surprised it was your first druid and if so you picked it up really fast before iell came along and leveled up, for you had a pretty good hold on things.

Sassmi was a really *refreshing* character. You were able to be a competent fighter, but more importantly....always kept a light side to you that made things fun. At first I was concerned that you didn't like to take chances in pk fights. But after the grove got raped and murdered by...10?...villagers....I dismissed that. For in the fights that followed, it *definately* was against overwhelming odds and you were there through it all when death was eminent. I also agree I was extremely disturbed by the millions of new sylvans ...but oh well....as long as you kept a good watch on them...I guess that could have been countered by uninduction. Anyhow, really good job all around and an extremely solid leader. Though I'm sure the leaders before you were good, definately one of the more "age setting" leaders since alysrith. A lot of this had to do with the duration you were around, both in longevity and frequency and just your great spirit. Its really spiffy when a leader can greatly influence a cabal even after they are gone. It will be interesting to see where it goes from here.

Little Strawberry was adorable. The stuff like, "Strawberry respect the inn," etc. was cute. It really seemed like you were enjoying yourself, and I hope the next leader is at least half as fun.

My first druid. First tattoo character. Aim of this character : Get title, Get tattoo.
One happy player. Also my last character on CF too. Like to thank the IMMs and other
friends I've gotten to know from CF. Thank you for everything through all these years.
Was never a pk oriented player, more of a explore player. So I thought, hell why don't
I try for once with my last character and make her a pker. I think I didn't do too badly.
Though I suck big time at gangbang in a big group. Personally, I think I do better solo.
Theres good times, theres bad times. Sassmi morph from a young druid eager to show what
she can do, to a serious gnome, then ended up a silly strawberry. Had the most fun with
this character other than Shermie, amoung all the characters made that is. All in all
thanks for everything! Its time to move on with life.

Immortals,

Vynmylak : I love your religion. Its good, just a pity that I ain't creative enough to
make it more enjoyable for you. Thank you for the many times you were with
Sassmi and of course not forgotting your tattoo and advices. You're like a
father whom the daughter goes to at certain point of her life where major
and personal decisions need to be made. Overall, Sassmi ain't so much of a
war bringer. Towards the end of her life, she wanted a little more peace and
quiet than usual. Sassmi hope you're proud of her for defending your Fortress
so darn many times to be ended up called a lackey. =p Heheee
" The resounding ring of a clarion sounds its triumph. " Its stuffs like this
that makes a CFer's day bright. Thanks!

Saldradien : You sneaky sneaky IMM! I love you! You keeps appearing out of no where!
This is what I like about you, you keep people going with your sudden
appearance. From the ogier, to the guardians, to the pixies and dryads.
Not to forget, there is of course the wind. Thanks for everything. The
positions within the Grove is a bonus to this character so is the
little strawbery axe and those strawberry titles. Thank you so much! You are
probably the only Imm that Sassmi speaks to other than Vynmylak. One thing
I'll always remember about you is -> Saldradien the always afk, busy
decorating christmas tree. Heheee...thats funny, I almost fell off my chair
there. Just too bad we didn't get to plant strawberries. One last thing, thanks
for putting up with Sassmi as she keeps losing the strawberry axe. Sorry about
the one time Sassmi yelled at the forest guardians to be quiet, theres like so
damn many interrupts during that poor applicant's interview. Since then the
forest guardians became totally quiet. *sigh*

Arvam : Thanks for the thymes and fishes. You saved the day. *winks* But honestly, Sassmi
wouldn't mind a Strawberry coat either.

Gwimdorf : You smelly smelly dwarf! Rank up so that you can get to 53 and interact more
with the Sylvans! You weren't a good healer at first, but you got better. Kudos
on Imming. You deserve it.

Thanks to the IMM(s) for the Wryms and Djinns. Djinns are so damn tough! Much more than
Wryms. Anyhow, it was fun, totally unexpected visits. More of these would be good. =P
I think thats about it for immortals, now proceeding to mortals.

Sylvans,

A wonderful cabal, just a pity that I'm a novice when it comes to leading such a big
cabal. Considering I did one hell of a bad job out of it. Thanks to everyone within the
cabal for putting up with Sassmi all this while.

Arehanah : I hate you when you deleted, I almost deleted too. Sassmi just loves hanging
around you so damn much! I've no idea why either, you just have that attraction
I guess.

Nunchyk : You're the last person I expected to delete! Damn! I was like #####! Its just
Phylanthorin and I now and tons of semi active characters. Its gonna be hell.
But oh well, I understand that dying so much in such a short time sucks.

Phylanthorin : JERK! You deleted right after Nunchyk did and I was counting on you to be
around! Damn! Anyhow, you worked hard and you got in. You would have gotten
at least a Lieutenant position if you haven't deleted. But life goes on.

Astaria : Damn you for doing all the stupid things and got booted out! I hated you
for that!

Anielle : You deleted too! That is sad. We were working so well together. But I guess
theres really no point of continuing when you're losing the fun.

Brahaid : I'm glad you ended up being with us, the wait was worthy.

Prendac : You need to be around more!

Iell : Decent character. But seems you're one hell of a pker than anything else and then
you disappeared.

Gyois : Good thing you have the mongoose, now its just seeing if you can make good use of it.
Where did you go?

Caerragonn : You need to stay alive! About that baby lass, do you mean it IC wise for RP
or RL wise that you really have a new born baby?

Omian : You need to hero. Have a feeling that you're gonna be the next Captain.

Cardiel : You'll need to learn which spell is useful at what situation. Though you're
doing it slowly, but you're still learning so its not that bad. Just gotta be
fast next time. You stuck to your role, and got titled, Well done there.

Andhean : You made the right choice. Though as a player, I do miss the fun that we had
kicking the Scions butt when they try to raid.

Griimbling : Your RP is so much like an Entropist. No idea why I got that impression.
Druids are strong, you gotta stop dying!

Sandarina : You'll be strong, your forms are good, especially crocodile.

Akrenetai : Stop practicing damn it, thanks for all the time and pking we did together.
You made it to Lieutenant, got the power to induct. We had alot of good times
together kicking butts. Thanks!

Eclinsan : You're the only high ranking minstrel the Sylvans have, hope you can stick around,
you'll bring alot of victories.

Arduarn : Stay alive.

Delorfin : Boar is good, you ranked up faster then I expected.

Induct (insert name of at least 10 warders) none

There are alot of sylvans that I wanna uninduct, but they won't log on for me to do so.
You know who you are, if you've a Sylvan and you can't play much or don't intend to,
then just delete. Don't waste the memory spaces of the machine. =P

Marans and Dawn,

Esmi : Sassmi loves you! She loves hanging around you, you're brave and courageous but
you gotta stop dying! Well done on Apostleship, you deserve a special title!
But she disliked you towards the end, 'cos she hates the point that you keep
helping the Warlocks even though they tried to flame a Fortress vs Grove war.
As a player, I've been through where you had gone, as Seralyn, its tough to be
crushed inbetween, but sometimes you need to choose carefully which side to aid,
you don't just aid 'cos they are lightwalkers. But most of the time, it would be
a better choice to leave them alone.

Abthalok : You always manage to make Sassmi laugh with your mistakes. Thanks for the
fight and travels. =)

Alnallander : You're really tough to please. Congrats on the Imming, you deserve it.

Tarnyxil : You're like a Maran, good at almost everything and stop asking me to locate
stuff for you! Hehehee, thanks for the good times, jests, travels and fights.
Where the hell did you disappear to?

Yaofhil : You gotta stop looking for that lake of ale of yours and stay around!

Cuvitar : Not too bad an invoker, could have been better. But I tend to see you on for
like 15 mins and log off? Not to mention quite a number of times. Thats quite
a turn off ya know.

Sabrian : You're fun and sneaky! I beat you easily without even having to sunray! HA!
You gotta stop dying there and stay alive! Sorry to have you in the difficult
situation, though I'm not the main culprit who placed you in it. Sometimes you
just have to let the troublemaker clean up their own mess.

Aliera : Tough kitty! We didn't travel much together, but we always manage to keep contact
from a distance. Well, you died, and now its Sassmi's turn. =)

Arigil : Help you ranked a few times, pretty nice lass. You've a long way ahead of you.

Ulthur : We had some nice talks and fights. Thanks.

Coraelm : See Ulthur and exclude the fights.

Tribunal,

Kaebe, Thanks for the help in the past.

Entropy,

Sinlauk : You're crazy! You're a silly and funny bird. Too bad you had to delete.

Herald,

Lynnette : Thanks for the contest, came in at the right time and ended up helping the Grove
with some stuff.

Airael : We spoke quite abit in the past about herbs then our log in timing doesn't click
anymore. But towards the end things are pretty quiet.

Shiluzar : Only attacked you when you're out of the Inn. Sassmi respect the place though she
didn't quite like it. She left you alone most of the time after that one time in
Udgaard, after realising that you're Esmi's close friend.

Arowyth : Never never never ever let a warder catch you attacking a ranger guild other than
the one at the weald. Killed you with Sabrian, but left you alone after the death.
While Bhagavan was fighting you that one time, Sassmi was pondering whether to help
you or not, but seems she ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time. Sorry!

Warlocks,

IC wise, hated the whole Warlock cabal. Keep making use of the Fortress and having them
clean up the messed the Warlocks made. Within Sassmi's eyes, towards the end, Fortress
is like Nexus and Warlocks is like Scions. OOC wise, the cabal turned totally weak. At least
during Slorya's time, the Warlocks can retrieve/raid on their own, without any other
cabals to back them up. All in all, think this is the worst state I've seen the Warlock
Cabal being in, after having 5 Warlocks. Whats worse is, Warlocks need to lie to the Fortress
folks so that to convince them to be on their side, thats the lowest thing, a good-align
cabal can do. Very disappointed with how the Cabal is doing now. Though there are a few decent
characters that stood out.

Jhard : We fought a number of times. =P You're brave and fun, fighting you
reminds me of fighting Quimo. Thanks!

Tasfiel : We fought, none of us died. Sassmi didn't want to kill you, she thinks you're someone
special, no idea why though. You just struck the character as a extremely friendly
character, just a pity we are standing on different sides.

Caysh : IC, hated you totally for starting the war and not giving Sassmi time to handle things
at a low profile state. OOC, didn't like you as Sloryas probably 'cos you ordered her
at one time of her life. As a player, totally confused with what Caysh is trying to do.

Nexus,

Kucerael : We spoke once, only once. You know what you should do, just do it. Believe me, you'll
have more fun that way.

Scion,

Anith : One of the enemies that Sassmi respects and loves to fight! Interesting character.
Just a pity we are enemies, else we could have sit down and talk more. Kudos!

Quimo : Another enemy that Sassmi respects and loves to fight! Fighting you is always fun.
You always come up with something new to make the fight more interesting. Thanks!

Killag : Sorry that I ruined your jack on Gwimdorf that one time on the eastern. Its full
moon, I just made use of it. You need to be around more anyhow.

Tarragain : Druids have their weakness when they are not at their terrain, just matter if
you can catch them at the right time. Theres several characters that solo-killed
Sassmi, which only means she's not that tough after all. None was assassination
by the way. Most of the time, she was half prepped. Sassmi has all the reasons
IC wise to defend the Fortress. Firstly, her God is a Fortress IMM. Secondly,
she didn't want the Scions to get the Scepter back. Thirdly, you're a Scion.
You would have done better if you have a/b/s, but you didn't.

Panir : You asked for a duel, you got it. Sassmi won! =P And NO! She didn't have any other
protection other than 3 to 4 sets of protective herbs. One or two went wrong and
ended up as Utility. You deleted soon after that. *sigh*

Aginal : You're really really tough not to mention arrogant. But Aginal is indeed a very
well done character, considering pk wise. I as a player gotta agree with you that
its totally sick to have 2 hunts on you at the same time. At that session, I just
logged Sassmi in and was informed that you're at that particular area and its full
moon, so she rushed there and attacked. Sorry.

BattleRagers,

The war between us is just one hell of a stupid war. But being able to grab the sapling
within 30secs or actually probably lesser than that, thats one hell of a fast raid.

Grogim : Man! I gotta stop finding stuff to complain to you! Sorry about all the complains.
But what told to you, were all the truth that Sassmi sees. You're cool, wonderful
Commander, but you die alot.

Sayangu : You're patient, a very very patient person, sorry about killing you at the
destructor, it has been a bad day dying to villagers like 4 - 5 times in a row.
Sassmi likes you alot, you're probably one of the few that she actually calls
friend. Was one hell of a disaster when we have to fight each other, but Sassmi
was glad that things became more quiet towards the end. Thanks for the travels. =)

Kulmortuk : Don't like you.

Sabiene : Thanks for your effort that time one at the forest, sorry it cause you a mob death.
A very nice lad. Should had become a Sylvan instead.

Yogor : Not much of interaction, mainly "You have Scepter?" "I have Scepter"

Darmok : Not much of interaction, mainly "You have Scepter?" "I have Scepter"

Drahk : Hate it when you deleted. Hate it when you thirst as well.

Trylartin : You tried very very hard to stop the war. Sorry about killing when you came to
talk. Sassmi was totally paranoid after that one incident that Gre tried to
killed her.

Gre : We only fought once, one on one. I was prepared for you, saw ya coming. Hehee
You gotta believe me, only took like 3 - 4 things which was looted from Sassmi much
earlier on from the major chaos. Totally no idea where the rest of the stuff went.

Others,

Bhagavan : Sorry about the briars, you're fun and cracky, manage to get me laughing quite
a few times.

Khalil : You gave me an impression of " I'm a cool, cold hearted, killing machine "

Kambolik : Geez...molester..

Kaatamnon : I'm surprised you didn't try to stop us when we were ranking at the Volcanos.

Brenbardo : You deserve to be in Maran. No idea if you got in yet, but you stopped appearing.
Thanks for the help you have given me, and thats one hell of a ton of it.

Phekaosy : Thanks for coming to help, you always try to come aid when you can. Effort
appreciated.

Tzaric : Thank you so much for scouting for me that few times. Its good to know that you have
an air form shapeshifter on your side.

Dylerion : Thanks for the travels that we had.

Tyroc : Thanks for the shieldings and travels.

Okay, I think thats about it. But I believe I've forgotten alot of people. Sorry about that,
I'll reply if you post something. Thanks.

What was the whole strawberry thing about? I enjoyed watching the character but could never wrap my head around the whole strawberry thing....it confused and boggled me everytime it was mentioned.

I've no idea where it came from really but it started from Blimbali and Saldradien. They started calling Sassmi a Strawberry even got her a sexless Strawberry titled, followed by more and more folks addressing her as a Strawberry. So I added a role that she got brainwashed by the folks and accepted the fact that she is a strawberry. For example, its like, if everyone is calling you a smart person, then slowly, you'll think that you're a smart person. Simple and straight forward as that. Thanks for watching.

A little lead in: Sassmi always used to get pissed because people would refer to her as "him, he, sir" whatever. It was a kind of uni-sex name, and it caused problems. Here is snips of a little dialog that happened one day. I (Blimbali at the time) suggested she should be known hence forth as the sexless strawberry and Sally was more then happy to oblige! Pretty funny stuff. hehe, enjoy.

P.S. Due to HTML I replaced the with --SYLVAN--, this is all cabal chatter.
----------------------------------

--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Thankie!
--SYLVAN-- someone: Aye fella.
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Lass!
--SYLVAN-- someone: Fella lass.
--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: Hah
--SYLVAN-- Caviezel: Sassmi, her skirt hidden...
--SYLVAN-- Arehanah: Gwimdorf the short human always mistakes me for a bird as well, I am not surprised.
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: He calls you a....!
--SYLVAN-- Gwimdorf: Ye fellas be trustin' me judgement...but I just see past th' exterior, eh.
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Woah..that was close.
--SYLVAN-- Gwimdorf: I be seein' what ye are at th' soul level!
--SYLVAN-- Arehanah: And the Archdruid seems to think I look like a wolf.--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: Soul of a man eh?
--SYLVAN-- Sahannara: a wolf with feathers
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Geez, I'm lack no one mistake me for a strawberry.
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Glad, not lack. *boggles8
--SYLVAN-- Lycith: Yah not like strawberries?
--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: Then let it be known, Sassmi shall herby be known as a sexless Strawberry.
Lycith grins evilly.
--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: No offence in that eh?
--SYLVAN-- Gwimdorf: Er...right.
--SYLVAN-- Arehanah: *blink* Ah, indeed.
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Bah!
--SYLVAN-- Caviezel: Caviezel, his lips grinning wide...
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Noo! I'm not!
--SYLVAN-- Saldradien: The sexless strawberry?
--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: Eyep
--SYLVAN-- Saldradien: So shall it be.
--SYLVAN-- Gwimdorf: Hah!
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Hey!
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: No!
--SYLVAN-- Arehanah: Ugh.
--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: Im gonna have to come up with a name for me to, everyone keeps callin me Captain
Lycith says 'Har!'
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Argh!
--SYLVAN-- Zheisron: Well done ere Sassmi!

--39 Gnome Dru-- --SYLVAN-- Sassmi the Druidess of the Half Moon, Sexless Strawberry

--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: Hoo! Ya
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: I know I love strawberries but ya don't have to do this to me eh?
--SYLVAN-- Arehanah: It seems somewhat cruel, in my opinion..
--SYLVAN-- Gwimdorf: It be done, eh.
--SYLVAN-- Gwimdorf: Th' wilds ain't always friendly, eh.
--SYLVAN-- Arehanah: So it be, father.
--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: Look at the bright side eh, now nobody will call ya a man.
--SYLVAN-- Caviezel: The wilds whisper with cruelty and even humour..
--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: Always look on the bright side o' life.
Lycith smirks.
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Anyway, strawberries doesn't have any sex differences.
--SYLVAN-- Arehanah: I am often criticized for doing so!
You whisper 'Didnt think she actually would be known as that. '
Lycith says 'Pick mine wit a bit more care?'
Lycith says 'Not bein wantin to be called a strawberry.'
You say 'The sexual stawberry?'
You innocently whistle a tune.
Lycith says quickly 'Or any oder fruit.'
--SYLVAN-- Caviezel: She look tasty..
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Noooooooooooooooooooo! I'm not edible!
Lycith says 'Hmm.'
Lycith says 'Dah girls would love dat..'
--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: Ive seen Sahanarra look at me with a hungry look before, wierds me out ya know.
Lycith says 'Yah bein bite size yah know.'
Lycith chuckles politely.
--SYLVAN-- Gwimdorf: Mmmmmmmmm....strawberries!
Lycith says 'Well I dunno.'
Lycith says 'I not gonna eat yah.'
Lycith says 'I like dragon meat more.'
Lycith says 'Odd, kinda tangy.'
You snicker softly.
You close your eyes and hum for an instant.
Thorns sprout from your skin as you undergo metamorphosis.
Blimbali points to his thorny spikes.
You say 'Im not fun to eat'
Lycith says 'Nah plus dah would get mad at me fur eatin dah captain.'
You say 'Like eatting a cactus'
You say 'Dont call me that!'
You groan loudly.
--SYLVAN-- Lycith: I got one fur Blimbali!
--SYLVAN-- Lycith: Captian cactus!
Throwing back his head, Lycith cackles with insane glee!
--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: Bah,just cause Im all thorny and spikey and whatnot..
--SYLVAN-- Sassmi: Hahahaaaa!
--SYLVAN-- Arehanah: Now.. I must admit.
--SYLVAN-- Blimbali: Other then that I dont see the resemblence
--SYLVAN-- Arehanah: That is somewhat funny
Lycith says 'Better den the sexy strawberry.'

Now honesty, I liked Sassmi OOC. Its rather nice having a stubborn opponent on the other side of a war. And the rare times when we spoke (such as the meeting at the Fortress) really were enjoyable. But as a player you come across as a complete ass.

>Caysh : IC, hated you totally for starting the war and not
>giving Sassmi time to handle things at a low profile state.

Who started the war? Oh, that's right. Sylvan. I drew a line saying you don't come here. And you dove headlong over that line. Don't claim I started anything.

>OOC, didn't like you as Sloryas probably 'cos you ordered her at one >time of her life.

Hrm, lets see. You, stacked character who was never around. Me, Preceptor. You, conjuring a mephit, forbidden to the Tower as was explained when Lardovian inducted you. Me, finding the corpse of a mephit you summoned for sanc and telling you you would be uninducted it if you did it again. What part of this seems petty?

>As a player, totally confused with what Caysh is trying to do.

Not really sure what you thought I am trying to do.

>Warlocks,
>IC wise, hated the whole Warlock cabal. Keep making use of
>the Fortress and having them clean up the messed the Warlocks made.

Nothing wrong with having allies.

>Within Sassmi's eyes, towards the end, Fortress is like Nexus and >Warlocks is like Scions. OOC wise, the cabal turned totally weak. At >least during Slorya's time, the Warlocks can retrieve/raid on their >own, without any other cabals to back them up.

Why take risks when I can minimize losses on my side? Its not like I sat around waiting for Maran to log on, but I would ask for aid when it was available.

>All in all, think this is the worst state I've seen the Warlock >Cabal being in, after having 5 Warlocks. Whats worse is, Warlocks >need to lie to the Fortress folks so that to convince them to be on >their side, thats the lowest thing, a good-align cabal can do.

Example of a lie? Everything I told members of the Fortress were completely true.

Incase you didn't know, there was once a Maran asked Sassmi if its true that Grove declared war on Fortress. Sassmi answered no and asked who said that. That Maran said a Warlock did.

By the way, I deleted Sloryas way before you became Preceptor

Wasn't me, so I resent you insinuating that I was lying to the Fortress.

Pretty sure you're wrong here. Its possible I was Adept at the time, but even so would consider myself within my bounds.

(the bitter part) One would think that if the Sylvans DON'T have their sapling they can't call wall of thorns. But nope, apparently thats not the case, apparently people get wall of thorns they can call at any time despite not having their sapling. Man I hope as a leader position in the village they allow me to resist or deathblow without the head. And whoever thinks truesight with a DEMOLISH equals walls of thorns without the item of power is an idiot.

That death I was very bitter about, very bitter indeed. The rest of our interactions were interesting. Also, I very much agree with you and the sylvans you think should be uninducted. I can probably guess a few of them off the top of my head.

(the good part)I think you were a good leader for sylvans in every way. Being a leader is never always fun. The highs are higher and the lows are lower. Kicking someone is never fun, and always hurts as a player, but you know you have to do it. Also, well done for living so long, that in itself is an achievement.

Good luck with your next. *cough* Battlerager *cough*

Wall of thorns given to Sassmi is a commune not a cabal power.
co 'wall of thorns' not call wall of thorns.
Thanks for the compliments though I think I'm probably the worst leader Sylvan can ever get. (Leader novice glow)

Just have to throw in my two cents. Many of cabal powers are in fact not "called" powers. They're skills or spells. Most cabals cannot call, cast or otherwise utilize their powers without their item. The reason villagers without the head leave alot more corpses. Truesight I think should just be taken away without the head, exertion or not. What's a demolish at hero? Sleep a couple hours off to the side somewhere, and don't get ambushed by the next invis person. No brainer. The sylvan leader power...I'm undecided on that one. Leaders should get more I believe. On the other hand, they keep what I consider to be perhaps their best power. I remember fighting Alysrith quite a few times when the sapling was in the chasm, and swarm with entangle is a bitch. Then again, not my call so doesn't matter what I think really.

As a side note, no, hardly the worst. In fact I would say you were one of the better ones. Maybe not one of the best, but certainly above mid-mark. I could probablly name (or give the race/class combo as I can rarely remember even my own names)a dozen off the top off my head who were worse.

So that every villager is ambushed and killed by the most simple of spells, invisibility, which is accessible by everyone in multiple shapes and forms. When it becomes known every person facing a villager would just turn invis and have a HUGE advantage, not including them not having their powers usually given to them.

If this was true I would not play a rager ever again. And I doubt anyone else would either. Since people would just turn their outer guardian invisible and we would be POWERLESS TO GET OUR ITEM BACK.

As to a DEMOLISH at hero, it is a big deal because truesight does not last very long at all, and if you decide to "rest a few ticks" as you said, then you have lost pretty much half the duration.

Karel, no offense there buddy, but take a moment to think things through.

I wouldn't advocate taking away truesight, but if it was taken away...

You would not be powerless to retrieve. You have svirfs, and you have assassins, and certain thieves too can reveal invisible without using magic. Granted, not all the time, but equally I can't see many enemies sitting around simply so that they can keep their guardian invis.

Few things here. First off, they also have bards and a certain legacy which would let them get by without using magic. However, the vast majority of Ragers are warriors without the ability to see invis. When they don't have their head, there are usually even less of them which makes it less likely they'll have someone able to do anything.

They were given truesight at a cost during the time of Empire. Ragers would fight one or two pairs of Centurions, then Imperials would do walk up, cast invis on the next pair, and laugh at the Ragers. It royally sucks when a level 11 mage using invis can prevent a group of hero Ragers from raiding. Admittedly it wouldn't be as bad today since there are no Centurions. It would be easier to sneak up and attack before someone made the guard invis. Gre is exaggerating.

>but equally I can't see many enemies sitting around simply
>so that they can keep their guardian invis.

I wouldn't put it past anyone on this game. If I had an evil leader-type and I knew I could prevent a retrieval this way, I would order some applicant or young member to sit there and do that until I commanded otherwise. Do you remember when people used to literally stand over the cabal item, and pick it up when the opposing people tried to flee past the guard?

Hutto

When I play an invoker I feel like a demi-god. Very little I am not willing to do. You gave me pause however. I'd see the sceptre in the grove, locate an item you nearly always had (curious how you continually lost it however). Full moon, wait the two real hours for it to change, because no way am I walking into briars, thorns, hunt and sunrays. Otherwise I just balanced it with who could help you. Remember a couple times I hit the ranger and it was just you coming to defend. I'd concentrate on the ranger, get the sceptre and run because by that time I'd have about 10 mana and 60 gay (read as fun-filled...) hours of spores. It was fun though. I don't think the wall and briars is overpowered like in the gameplay post, although I do think being able to call them both RIGHT outside the chasm is a bit much. Granted, that's the power of plant growth. The hunt thing...yes, two hunts is just bull. I would have actually survived them, but some elf shifter who rarely more than took a peck at me decided to fly down too. Anyways, great character, in both senses, and I'm sure I'll see you again someday.

It took you little time to get the idea, but after a month or so you lost interest. I remember you saying you were dying of oldage soon, lots of times, like if you wanted it to happen.

Too bad you are gone, but hey if its not fun anymore, nothing can stop you. You left a very strong cabal well done there. Let see how storms shift now.

I had every intention of sticking it out to the end with my character, but things have been busy, yadda yadda yadda. You made me feel obligated to play, an obligation I can't keep up, so I ended up deleting. Are you really bothered by the fact that people don't have time to log much, or because you think they're "warm weather friends"? When Andhean told you he's always been dedicated to the cabal, it seemed to be the real answer you were looking for.

I admit some of the Sassmi Sylvan interviews I witnessed were easier/faster than I am personally comfortable with, but even that couldn't detract from what overall seemed to be a very well played character. Nice job.

There was some talk of immorting you. Sad to see it didn't come together, at least not on your timetable.

Here's hoping we'll see you back in the fields sooner rather than later.

I know I'm good at everything ! Just kidding.. You know I interacted with alost every character of yours (I even showed Shermie around in Thera with one of my characters; shermie was an elven bard, too, eh ?), and you were Sloryas, too ? Ya stinkin' packrat (a more obvious hint I can't hardly give).. Anyways, Sassmi was really cool to travel with, I even found some of the bickering/having fun-thing that I found in Sloryas, too.. but that could be the personal touch and all.. Anyways, back to Sassmi .. I rememeber the countless times defending the grove with you, most of the times succeeding without much of a problem.. dude, sunray does hurt.. and than those quests with the snakes and the djinns, just cool.. But why do I always get to lead around ??? .. thanks for all the fun.. As to where I disappeared ? I have to write a 150-page dissertation on the future of nuclear energy in CEntral and Eastern Europe, and make some tasks about Belgian taxes .. Anyways, hope to see you around some time..

Be well, berrie..

Elfie.

You're gone! NO! We spent hundreds of hours together! Everyone is leaving, and now my closest companion outside of the Fortress is gone too. This is going to be a horrible blow to Esmi when she realizes you are gone. Damn you did a great job. I'm going to miss hanging with you.

Yeah you were always fun to have around. I know along time back when you were rank 40 odd I had a sylvan shifter Felrynis. Had air forms and golden jaguar but deleted at 41 I think. It was fun anyway.

Then as trylartin I really really wanted to stop the war cause I thought alot of the sylvans were my friends. So I went to thee grove and changed to whips in the hopes that if you attacked I could eyejab and run till you cooled off. Then i removed all my weapons and walked into your wall/sunrays so I just stood there and let me die

I liked talking to you after a about the far. And going over my notes after the war had ended I see my notes were addressed to Grogrim not Grogim. Which meant none of any of my efforts did anything

I hope this isnt your last and I wish you luck in life too.

Trylartin

We had some nice fights with Anith, and raids. Those were the days. I liked traveling with your thief Shriya with Wasarbre too. Ive had a few warlocks that have interacted with yours as well and they are always cool.

You'll be back...*wink*

You're a very good player in CF in all aspects and really well rounded, but your RP always makes me smile

Everyone in your character list as well as (and more so) Sassmi has helped make my time in CF very enjoyable.

Here's to my favorite Strawberry!

Sorry I haven't been around for the last week, Sassmi... It's mid-term time at school and i've been really bogged down. I'm going to be around a lot more often now that I have a few of my tests/essays done. You and Akrenetai at the same time?! Jeez.. I'm the temporary leader for now. God help us .

I loved your character and your roleplay although sometimes I thought you finished your interviews a bit quick. That's probably just because I am used to hour and a half long talks. You did great as captain and were an awesome PKer and roleplayer. See ya in the fields.

Most interviews last about that long as you mentioned, an hour and half some even more. Most of the interviewees had a second / third interview and you probably met up to those. Sassmi is a little tougher a few classes, 'cos theres quite a number of those classes in the cabal. For the rare classes, she's a little easy going on them, just the necessary questions and the understand questions.

Strawberry rolls off.

You were actually a strong leader. The thing was, with the people you inducted (and uninducted), you didn't have to carry the cabal (even though you often did anyway). Even when you weren't on, over 3/4 of the Sylvans were competant and at hero-range.

And you weren't afraid to uninduct people, which is a huge plus.

I'd say you were a good leader. You let Sylvans choose their own actions, yet you still demanded common sense from them (at least views in line with the grove).

Good luck with the next.

Well this sucks to see. I wont say too much, because of all the stuff currently going on in the game, but as a player I always liked seeing Sassmi around. I knew there would be someone there if I ever got stuck in a pinch. I never did get to ask about the Strawberry either, but Ulthur just kind of took it in stride. Good job!

You definitely seemed like the leader figure during the quests I helped run. Good job rallying everyone, even after it got bloody.

I admittedly made a lot of comments suggesting that we change the description people see when they enter a room to:

Sassmi is here, inducting you.

(Not my original idea, but I thought it would be funny.) I caught one your inductions on a lark after seeing Sylvan swell to the largest I've seen it, and it did seem like you went from introductions to inductions in a very short time. You seemed a lot more comfortable and fun while talking more socially, though.

Well again, the inductions. I would not say all, but quite a number of applicants are recommended by other hero sylvans which is why the interview is cut short. IC wise, Sassmi trusts what the other sylvan heros says, therefore make the induction fast. She knows that if there is something wrong after this guy is inducted, she knows who to refer to. Its a matter of trust within cabal. But most of the applicants I would say, end up having run around to do at least 3 - 4 tasks.

Gone for a few days, and seems like I lose a few followers. Bleh.

I hope you enjoyed the character as much as I did getting to watch some of your interactions. Seeing a little gnome druid speaking of war that referred to herself as Strawberry was funny as hell to me. But, you did really well. I remember eavesdropping on a debate with you and Sabrian regarding the philosophy of war one day in the shrine, and was impressed. Two followers, two different views/intents, but with commonalities. The diversity was fun to see and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Great job on the character. Yeah, there was quite a boom in the Sylvan ranks with you as leader. I just figured you were recruiting fodder for the war. *grin*

Hope you enjoyed your time in th' Fields, and hope to see you again at some point.

Well where to begin? I liked this character, period. I enjoyed your consistancy with your rp. It was truly an enjoyable thing for me, you totally made 53 fun. At almost 700 hours you never ceased to amaze me with the complexity of the char Sassmi. Granted I'll echo what a few others have said, you swelled the cabal. Is that a bad thing? Probably not. I wouldn't worry about it. I can't count the hours I watched/followed/plotted something evil for you, and god knows how much time spent on interaction. A sincere thank you for the entertainment you alloted me over the past few months. There are a couple more that I can say as much about. The character was a breath of fresh air and could always be depended on for quality interaction. I'm sorry the imm thing didn't work out for you, you were still a good ways from age death. Good luck on your next. here's a few comments from my stake in your farewell.

"One thing I'll always remember about you is -> Saldradien the always afk, busy decorating christmas tree. Heheee...thats funny, I almost fell off my chair there."

This is why you shouldnt decorate chrismas trees while drinking an d mudding.

"Just too bad we didn't get to plant strawberries."

This was something I tried to do, wanted to do, but it just never happened, probably due to my general laziness.

Titles! Most of these came from cabal chatter or things you said while watching you except the first, which I thought up when you got captain.

Sassmi the Strawberry Sounder of the Horn, Warder Captain

-This was smoove when you leveled or Vynnie changed your title one of the two and it got all hosed.

Sassmi the something something, Sexless Strawberry

-Direct from Cabal chatter, had me rolling

Sassmi the Sweetest Poison Ever, Sounder of the Horn

-By far my favorite Sassmi title. Originated in a discussion you were having with someone. I forget who.

Hey thanks for coming to save me that one time in the Sirine Island. I didn't know if you'd actually come to help me or if you'd come to kill me (for some reason a lot of sylvans don't really like me), but I figured I'd ask, because I always wanted to get to know you better IC. I thought you did a hell of a job with Sassmi, great character. It really is too bad to see you go, I've enjoyed many of your other creations, but good luck with real life and all that jazz.

Thanks for that gift you gave me that time in the Inn, my jaw almost dropped to the floor. Sassmi was just another druid I had a soft spot for and if she ever asked for help I would have come on the spot. Thanks again for the talks, you were a great character. See you in the fields!
