Well, it was superefun. But at the end, I've lost interest in this character. As Scarab said - when character got turned evil. It went against his role, idealogy and phylosohpy. I tried to play it, though - thanks for the spells returning, but looks like it didn't work.
This character began as experiment, to kill some time while I've been waiting for something. I never had a really successful shifter (my last semi-not-bad was Ssasslao, scion shifter). But instead of a little experiment it turned out into solo heroing as a major offense/defense. Never ever grouped with anyone until hero, and even on hero I think I've been grouped about 3-4 times.
When I wrote my role, I knew that I will hate gnomes and will hunt them (because of this character's past). Just for fun, I've added in his first chapter that he will be a follower of Scarab. I never seriously thought about it. A good bit later, I've seen Scarab about and suddenly recalled that loooong ago I've added something about him. So I've run to him and after a good talk whoa - I'm the Seeker of the Beast! Never expected that, but after that, I began to work on his role and phylosophy. He totally changed, stopped hunting gnomes and elves... and began hunting everyone instead
My first 1st tier offense was dire wolf. I knew it's a good form ,but I wanted tiger. Rolled bones and got my *sweet* and *sexy* monkey! Almost deleted, but then decided to give it a try. Oh god! I felt like I had a questy form. I think that this form was nefred slightly after my steamrolling runs, but maybe I've just got used to it Monkey was extremely good vs gnomes - his arch-enemies.
Damn you, someone, who broke my porn shawtaby mask! You killed so much fun. *cry*
Scarab: thanks for everything. It was very, very interesting. I tried to twist your religion and felt that you didn't want to play this game. Half of the fun were lost when I was turned evil (and whole phylosophy of this character were based on neutrality).
I have based phylosophy of this character on Osho's. Yes, many said he was just mindless killer, but he had tonns of reasons why did he hunted. Ironically, it was twisted Osho's phylosophy. It was incredibly interesting to work on it, and hope this entertained readers of his role (if you managed to read and understand what did I mean).
I really did hope to build that thing we were discussing, but you seemed to be disappointed with me at the end and we never continued this thing. Pity. I had some really cool ideas, or so I think.
I'd keep trucking as an evil (actually I did), but you seemed to disappear and we never met again after that, so delete/delete. As I understand, you had some RL things going and been really busy, and probably should I wait a little more, somethine else would happen and caracter would keep developing. But probably not - also I've got a feeling that my idea of the ruby beast didn't work.
Cyradia: you are evil I like you very much, probably one day I'll make a follower of you. Sure for 100% it will be interesting, though most likely I will end screwed up. Sometimes I speak too much, and when you speak too much with imms like you, it always causing troubles (to me).
Dvalygg: well done! Too bad we didn't roam together, but we were loners. I felt really weary when have been with someone else. Good luck with you, mummy!
Lisos: I really hated you as someone else, but really loved you as Sagraa. You was cool, and when you deleted it was something like "How he could delete with SOOOO sweet title?!!!! Btch!" I think if you would be more active, we could bring scarab cabal back Or maybe not, who knows?
Battle: only Baueouaououaouououououougout (sp?) was an annoyance, couldn't do anything to him. Everyone else - dead meat.
Tontik - I will post our little chat after you delete. Revenge! Felt bad after doing this to you, but at the end, everything ended good, isn't it? Bo.
Garwern: just bleh for what you did.
Timnad: I've got you after your ####talking and totally owned you Boy, did you know that my second form is absolute immune to you? You had no chance. And I didn't call Dvalygg when you finally knocked me out - we weren't even grouped I think. He just walked by and noticed his "friend" monkey knocked out. You wouldn't do anything to me anyways. As I posted earlier, I wanted to grab ONE thing and return you your things, but you kept kicking me out of the inn. So I released shawtabies... and BAM! I'm receiving tonns of ####talking about how I am abusing game bugs. Took a while to figure out that your precacious eq didn't drop from the shawtabies, but been gone with them. Karma works, karma rocks.
Everyone else - too many of you to remember. Post something and I will surely reply.

No offense, but your character just screamed evil to me.
Neutral isn't killing everyone with a decent excuse, neutral is doing both good and evil. If you're following an evil religion and using that religion as an excuse to kill people, that's pretty much no different from an evil follower who follows an evil religion and uses that religion as an excuse to kill people.

Because he, from the first level, had hatering towards elves, gnomes, duergars and everything that is beauty (i.r. cher 18+)
He was the ugliest thing in the world (or so he and gnomes in hillcrest thought), and tormented him for his ugliness. This is why he hated elves and gnomes.
If I won't be too lazy, soon I'll charge my bank card and buy PBF, so you will see the full story and reasons why did he hunted elves and gnomes in his pre-scarab life.

Just to avoid disconnects between what you think and what we think in the future, that's pretty much an evil character role.
Nothing wrong with it, unless you pick neutral to go with it.

I understand your position.
Just to me it is kind of weird that battle/outie/nexus can kill goodies and their kills are justified by their cabal reasons, and role/phylosophy that I developed for Sagraa (based on Osho) is not justifying it. He actually thought that he is doing good for the world (and from some point of view he really did a good thing)
But anyways, turning into evil didn't bother me too much from PvP aspect. As Scarab said, it killed character, and I agree here.

They can do it because there are clear guidelines on whats acceptable.
You basically created a guideline that would let you hunt 95% of players so really your guidelines were meaningless because they didn't really filter anyone out. Hence evil.
On a side note I don't know how you went so long without the align change. I had a gnome shifter and I double kill a loud mouthed scribe and get the instant evil treatment with < 90 hours.

In a sense having a tattoo can stretch these things out. If you're a random uncaballed untattooed murder gnome and I see that behavior, my (or whoever's) assumption is more likely to be that I know your RP as well as anyone and therefore I can pull the trigger on that. If somebody else has tattooed/empowered/whatever a character, though, my assumption is more likely to be that they know more about what the character is like and has been doing, so we're more inclined to try to get that immortal's input before making a move.
We strive for as much consistency as we can reasonably get, but circumstances aren't always the same.

Great character, but let me just agree that this character came across as 100% evil, and I'm one of the people that argued (loudly) to Scar that it was BS to keep you neutral. I watched you insta-murder neutral/wildernessy characters that were trying to RP with you without uttering a word (which is, justifiably, hard to do in form, but typing 'murder dude' is still a choice).
In fact, everytime I watched you, all you did was flip through your PK list and try to murder each of them. Even if you had some broad role/justification for why (18+ charisma or, you know, anybody breathing)...that still ends up being evil to me. I'm assured there was more to you than that, but I guess my unlucky snoops never saw it.
I'm a believer in a certain amount of "black hat / white hat" definition in the game, because if you're acting evil (and let's, for the sake of argument, say you're RP/justifying it as neutral in your own point of view) you're still making life RP difficult on good characters. You don't have a red aura, so they probably shouldn't try to get the offensive jump on murdering you...but that's a little hard to explain (and defend themselves against) when you're bathing in everybody's blood.
I'm also a little defensive in the whole "neutral shifter that wanted gnome stats and murders everything with their final form" arena, because it's a build we've had problems with in the past. So, you were fighting an uphill battle against the sins of previous murder-gnomes. That said, your RP and religion did make your "punishment" period of an alignment change almost zero compared to others.

No problems with turning me evil. It was an interesting challenge to remain neutral and I agree that I've kinda failed it.
Many times I thought "doh, why didn't I roll an evil character - I wouldn't have so many morale problems", but it was too late. Gnome not because of bonuses, but because I just wanted to play gnome AND, when I rolled him, I had NO IDEA where will I end up.
I said before that I think could remain neutral. But it wouldn't be interesting at all.
Should I know that I'll go Saraba way, and actually will become more than just a believer, I'd surely pick an evil character and, quite sure, I'd have a lot more immrewards (though I had tonns of it even with the neutral character. So yes, next time I want to play Scarab follower, it will be an evil - very, VERY EVIL!

I really tried to stay and burn the fire again. But couldn't.
Shifters, especially loners, are boring after some time. Always one tactic (though I've mixed coppersnake + rattlesnake + gorilla), always same one poney trick - smash... Really boring.
RP aspects would keep Sagraa alive, but seems he reached his maximum.
Good luck with your plans, I'm sure that eventually you will do something very interesting!

In farewells I wrote that if character could be developed further, I'd keep playing him. But seemed that you got disappointed at the end with his idea about your religion (and yeah, I twisted it quite a lot)!
Playing simple beast wasn't fun. I've needed deeper reasons and religion - but you already know that
Anyways, thank you a lot for everything, it was one of the most interesting characters from RP perspective I ever had.
Ah, yes, why it became boring at the end: solo is good and interesting, but not when you are alone 99% of time. Probably this was the main reason of why I've lost interest in him. This game mode is just not for me.

Absolutely agreed and thanks for everything again. Just way of the Beast appeared too "hollow", too simple. I wanted something more complicated, but it didn't work with you It was a kind of provocation for you, to change it into something new and you resisted

I've had A LOT of people asking me questions, and I just couldn't answer to everyone. Sometimes I wanted just to run around, or hunt, or something. Or just been busy or in the middle of something else.
I THINK in 80% I've been up for RP about my role or the cult. At the end of Sagraa's life this % got down to 20% max, partially coz of alignment change.

so I am no expert on your religions Mr Scarab but I have always been super confused by teh GWB aspect of it. I am confused because from a third person perspective I have never been able to distinguish between a GWB neutral char and an evil char.

I think you do a great job but I look back and just flat out can't tell why any follower of the GWB I met was neutral. I would be willing to bet a not insignificant number have been turned evil over the years too.
I mean is there anything you do as an imm to discourage them from playing evil in a neutral suit? Are they any expectations in the relgion that could be considered "goodie side" in nature? Or is it just the intentional gateway drug for evvvvvvvviiiiilllll.

*I* was acting as an evil (on purpose and because of the role, though I do not agree that Sagraa was actually evil until the alignment change).
Followers of GWB *can* be neutral if they RP it properly. But for my taste, such RP is too easy and too boring This is why I shifted and twisted it all, and I surely do not regret it.
In my opinion, followers of GWB are very close to the neutral outlanders, who can kill as much as they want 99% of playerbase (where 1% are other outlanders) But they are justified by the cabal phylosophy, while just neutral haven't such defense.
