Starting next reboot, shamans will no longer have Detect Magic. All priests (healers, druids, paladins, shamans) gain Detect Consecration at a low level, which lets them discern blessed objects, and estimate the mana reserves of PC priests.

Existing shamans who practiced Detect Magic will start with the same skill level in the new commune.

I don't really care since I don't play empowerment characters. However:

"which lets them discern blessed objects"

This seems pretty useless to most everyone. How about including cursed (e.g. noremove, nodrop) items as well?

(Although, last minute brain activity says being able to see magical object is pretty useless to most everyone as well.)

Yup. It wasn't really intended as an upgrade. More for continuity with present dogma and future projects.

That said, most objects that do something fairly unusual will be one or more of (Blessed)/(Magical). It might convince you to take a second look at an otherwise unexceptional object. Of course, sometimes an object is just marked (Blessed) to fit with its origin, and it doesn't denote additional power.

Any chance we can get this supp to detect if a room is cursed against recalling, anti-prayer, if a room has been sanctified, and if a room has been disecrated by an Orc?

Any chance we can get this supp to detect if a room is cursed against recalling...

The problem there is that a room can block recall for a number of reasons-- planar boundaries, wards, etc. There's no reason why it would have to be divine in origin.

... if a room has been sanctified, and if a room has been disecrated by an Orc?

I'm a little wary of downgrading the little-used Desecration, but I'll kick around ideas on this front.
