#3896, "Tigers, Pounce, Blind?"

**Immagine my surprise when my carefully thought out plan for fighting tigers, based upon the fact that it might be possible to stop him from pouncing....backfires PARTLY because blindness does not stop him from pouncing.
Bug? By Design? **
==243/976hp 897/1053m 722/722mv== <waxing/9 AM/civilized/outdoor> You narrow your eyes and glare in a tiger's direction. A tiger appears to be blinded. A tiger has a few scratches.
==243/976hp 892/1053m 722/722mv== <waxing/9 AM/civilized/outdoor> A tiger's claw MUTILATES you! You sure are BLEEDING! You parry a tiger's claw. You parry a tiger's claw. Your shield blocks a tiger's claw. Your pierce devastates a tiger! A tiger dodges your pierce. A tiger has some small but disgusting cuts.

(Red Aura) A Nightwalker stands in the shadows, breathing heavily. Grurk has arrived. You flee from combat! A tiger follows you as you flee and pounces on you, knocking you down! You parry a tiger's claw. Your shield blocks a tiger's claw. You parry a tiger's claw. A tiger's claw DISMEMBERS you! You sure are BLEEDING! A tiger dodges your pierce. A tiger has some small but disgusting cuts.

Because this change hurts the appeal of the tiger form...a lot. You're going to start seeing a lot more dirt kick/flee tatics and what not. The tiger form doesn't have good saves, nor does it dodge that well and it certainly doesn't stack up damage wise with the ram/lion.
Pounce was what made the tiger form good... and this change limits pounce, a lot. Its not like they have any other way of keep people in battle.
