**Immagine my surprise when my carefully thought out plan for fighting tigers, based upon the fact that it might be possible to stop him from pouncing....backfires PARTLY because blindness does not stop him from pouncing.

Because this change hurts the appeal of the tiger form...a lot. You're going to start seeing a lot more dirt kick/flee tatics and what not. The tiger form doesn't have good saves, nor does it dodge that well and it certainly doesn't stack up damage wise with the ram/lion.

Pounce was what made the tiger form good... and this change limits pounce, a lot. Its not like they have any other way of keep people in battle.
