To be even fairer, there have been a lot less 100+ kill evil conjurers than there have been bash-spamming newb RBW's with 100+ kills.

I get that wasn't the analogy you were making but we should face the facts:

CF damage redux is hard to balance because:
1) Deathblow
2) There's a large amount of stackable damage reduction in the game.

If you fix some of those things, you could just balance the mage classes to not require wands instead of jumping through all these hoops to let elites curb stomp groups.

Honestly, the wand system is one of the most awful things about CF, I have no idea how people go on and on defending it like it is a good thing.
