In the current situation that is occuring (current outtie leaders and the OP being the relevant pieces to the equation) do you honestly mean to tell me that you think that a single ranger vs a shield paladin with lieutenants in the Spire is actually something that is problematic?

Currently there are only 2 chars on the mud with insect swarm and they are both rangers (I haven't logged in yet today to see if there is a 3rd leader or not so that statement might be incorrect). If a shield paladin with lieutenants is dying to a lone ranger in civilized because of insects then I have a pretty strong belief that even without insects, the pk would be landing because of a gap in player skill.

If the root of the problem lies in the fact that it is a lone tribunal vs multiple Outlanders raiding them, then again, the issue doesn't lie with insect swarm but in the fact that Outlander is the current FotM cabal. We generally won't change how things function just because of a pendulum swing.

On a tangent to the pendulum, just a litle bit ago everyone was carrying on about how cry of the phoenix is the most broken thing ever.... its amazing how quick no one gives a crap about a generally mediocore power when there isn't an awesome dude melting your face with it.
