1) The fact that you claim to know these four people ooc. Which leads to two things.

A) Of course you would stand up for them, even when they are wrong.
B) They were using ooc contacts, and ignoring every IC cabal role they had, just to get through hell.


2) The fact that you think having played someone good in the past, excuses you from following your role in later cases.
